Why is regression made out to sound like such a bad thing? 
The Beach Boys had it wrong; it wouldn't be nice if it we were older.
It would be nice if we were younger: loved, ignorant, and happy.

I can't say for sure about the movie, but the book doesn't make it seem like very much fun.
